How much will my website cost?
This is dependant upon the size and content of your site. Please see the prices page for further information. All prices include the design/layout (assuming you have supplied all necessary text/graphics in electronic form) and uploading to your webhosting company.
How long will it take?
This will depend on the size of the project, but after the initial consultation/design brief and all text and graphics having been supplied, then a 5 page website should be "live" on the internet within a week.
Do I have a say in how the website looks?
Of course! Each page will be shown to you upon completion for your approval. I do not use templates - all pages will be individually designed to your specifications. You may already have an idea of how you would like it to look, or you may have seen some sites you like which would give me an idea of how you would like yours to appear.
Will you submit my website to the search engines?
Yes. I will submit your site to 5 major search engines who accept free submissions, although please note that this does not guarantee you a high ranking.
Glossary
Browser
a software program that allows you to search for and display a web page - e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox.
Domain name
an internet address - i.e. www.yournamehere.com.
Home page
the page through which a web site's visitors enter.
Host/web host
the computer(s) that is directly connected to the internet. All files for websites on the internet are stored on host computers.
Meta-tags
keywords that help search engines index and rank your site.
